Credit Recovery – Semester 1: Revisit German language immersion and cultural aspects of German-speaking countries.
Semester 1 of 2 – Credit Recovery Course: In German 2, students are immersed in the German language while learning more about cultural aspects of Germany. The course emphasizes increasing students’ skills in understanding spoken German, and writing, reading, and speaking in German. German 2 provides a comprehensive review of German grammar while improving students’ vocabulary skills. At the end of this course, students have a knowledge of and appreciation for the German people and language.
A parent portal is available to provide visibility into student grades, academic progress, and communications. Parents may also message teachers and the student’s advisor directly through the platform.
Includes a built-in study planner that schedules coursework based on the selected end date, with the ability to adjust and regenerate the plan at any time.
Direct access to a learning coach, with ongoing weekly progress monitoring and proactive outreach.

All ELN courses are self-paced.
Students may take as long as needed to complete a course. If needed, we can align the course with a specific school schedule and adjust dates as the student progresses.
No prerequisites are required for any ELN course.

The process is simple:
All courses are asynchronous, meaning students may work independently with all-inclusive, self-contained courses. Our curriculum includes multiple learning tools to engage every kind of learner, including videos, visuals, and plenty of practice – especially in math courses! Our goal is to provide learning opportunities that meet the needs of students in any situation, meaning flexibility is core to what we do.
If your student would like to meet live with their teacher, they can always request a Personalized Live Session (PLI). PLIs give the student a chance to ask specific questions in a one-on-one format. We also have office hours for each subject daily, where a student may jump into a Zoom room with one of our full-time teachers.
Yes! Coordinating with your district is helpful for us; however, it is not required. We recommend that you reach out to your district prior to enrollment.
Some school districts already use EdisonLearning courses. If you’re currently enrolled in a district that uses Edison courses, contact your school’s advisory team to complete enrollment.
Every school has different policies regarding transfer credits. We recommend speaking with your school counselor to confirm before enrolling.

At this time, we do not offer discounts or payment plans. We structure our courses as a one-time purchase that allows the student to work at their own pace, without ongoing fees or monthly charges.
