Learn Microsoft PowerPoint from basics through 3D models and animations, and prepare for the MOS PowerPoint Certification.
Microsoft (MS) PowerPoint® is highly useful presentation software that is part of the MS Office® suite of applications and products. It allows users to easily create visuallyengaging slide presentations that are useful in academic, business, and marketing settings, to name a few. As PowerPoint has evolved, so have its functionality and capabilities. In this course, students will learn about the many functions of MS PowerPoint, from incorporating images, video, and audio into presentations as well as how to add exciting and animations to impress audiences. Students will learn about the nuances of creating dynamic slides and incorporating creativity into their presentations. The course will outline each of the elements of the Microsoft Office Specialist: Associate certification exam from Certiport® and students will be given activities, projects, and other ways to practice and implement what they have learned.
A parent portal is available to provide visibility into student grades, academic progress, and communications. Parents may also message teachers and the student’s advisor directly through the platform.

All ELN courses are self-paced.
Students may take as long as needed to complete a course. If needed, we can align the course with a specific school schedule and adjust dates as the student progresses.
No prerequisites are required for any ELN course.

The process is simple:
All courses are asynchronous, meaning students may work independently with all-inclusive, self-contained courses. Our curriculum includes multiple learning tools to engage every kind of learner, including videos, visuals, and plenty of practice – especially in math courses! Our goal is to provide learning opportunities that meet the needs of students in any situation, meaning flexibility is core to what we do.
If your student would like to meet live with their teacher, they can always request a Personalized Live Session (PLI). PLIs give the student a chance to ask specific questions in a one-on-one format. We also have office hours for each subject daily, where a student may jump into a Zoom room with one of our full-time teachers.
Yes! Coordinating with your district is helpful for us; however, it is not required. We recommend that you reach out to your district prior to enrollment.
Some school districts already use EdisonLearning courses. If you’re currently enrolled in a district that uses Edison courses, contact your school’s advisory team to complete enrollment.
Every school has different policies regarding transfer credits. We recommend speaking with your school counselor to confirm before enrolling.
