Harris Digital Learning eCourses
Instructional Design That Delivers Results
At Harris Digital Learning, we partner with districts to deliver high-impact online and blended learning experiences for students in grades 6–12. Our standards-aligned eCourses are built by a team of seasoned instructional designers and certified educators, focused on helping districts drive academic achievement. Every course is grounded in a research-based instructional model and structured to provide a seamless learning experience—no matter the subject or grade level.

Our Approach to Curriculum
Harris Digital Learning
Consistency and quality are at the core of our curriculum.
Each eCourse lesson presents instruction required for mastery in a wide range of modalities, ensuring that students can engage with the curriculum through text, audio, video, and interactive practice. If this mastery is not met, each eCourse is equipped with responsive instruction in order to ensure each student reaches mastery of the content. This approach develops critical reading, writing and communication skills that are a key to future success. Additionally, self-motivated students can work independently to explore lesson content in more detail. This course type is ideal for the college-bound student.
Mastery-Driven Learning
Here's How It Works
Structured to Support Deep Understanding
Districts are always exploring the best ways to promote real learning versus the passive progression typical in online learning programs. To support this priority, our courses are designed around a unique cycle of learning, assessment, and re-teaching. This strategy supports our students to be well prepared to progress to future lessons and achieving mastery of the course material

Academic Rigor Meets Flexible Course Options

The Harris Digital Learning eCourse catalog offers 6-12th grade online courses in core and elective subject areas that can be used for full virtual, credit recovery, alternative education, supplemental, or enrichment programs. eCourses are available in a range of course types to meet the individual needs of each learner and program.
Advanced Learners
Honors
Students are pushed to apply their understanding of the concepts in each lesson to rigorous performance-based assessments, projects, and conceptual activities. These courses are the perfect fit for students wishing to extend their understanding of a particular subject.
Proficient Learners
Competency Based
A self-paced solution for students to demonstrate mastery of the concepts of a lesson before they can progress to the next lesson. These courses provide a self-remediating performance monitoring system.
Developing Learners
Foundation
Foundation eCourses contain fewer lessons than Competency-Based eCourses and are designed to prepare students to control their own learning while ensuring they master the foundational skills and knowledge that are critical building blocks for upper-level courses.
Remedial Learners
Credit Recovery
Developed as truncated versions of their corresponding Competency-Based eCourses, these courses still require students to demonstrate mastery of the concepts addressed in a lesson before progressing to the next set of objectives. Comprehensive quizzes and unit exams ensure that students are rigorously assessed on all concepts in the course.
